How Tripcurio researches, publishes, and updates travel-planning content.
Last Updated: July 2026
Our Standard
Tripcurio publishes research-led travel guides for readers comparing destinations, hotels, gear, and planning options. We aim to make recommendations useful, verifiable, and clear about what is based on research versus first-hand travel.
How We Research
- ✓ We compare official tourism pages, hotel websites, maps, transit information, and publicly available price tools.
- ✓ Public traveler reviews and forums may be used to identify patterns, but they are not copied or treated as the only source.
- ✓ Hotel and product recommendations are checked for location, use case, price range, drawbacks, and traveler fit.
- ✓ When a guide is based on desk research, we do not imply that a writer personally visited the destination.

Corrections and Updates
Travel information changes often. We update guides when we find outdated prices, closed businesses, broken links, policy changes, or reader-submitted corrections. If you notice an issue, contact us at hello@tripcurio.com.
AI and Editorial Review
